Why Get Permanent Makeup?

There are many benefits to getting permanent makeup. The most common reason is convenience. It saves time in our beauty routines in our already busy lives. Other reasons may include:

  • Allergic to or sensitive to most makeup

  • Looking for a sweat-proof, water-proof, long lasting wear

  • Seeking to enhance the size or look of the eyes, lips, or brows

  • Active lifestyle and wants the benefit of makeup without the fuss

  • No lashes or brows for various medical reasons

  • Scarring or pigmentation loss for various reasons

  • Issues applying makeup due to poor vision or poor dexterity in hands

  • Using Accutane

  • Have heart conditions or using heart medications

  • Have diabetes (will require a physician's note)

  • Have skin disease or irritations (including blemishes in the eyebrow)

  • Have had Botox in the last 2 weeks

  • Have gotten a deep tan or chemical peels in the last 2 weeks

  • Allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine or epinephrine

  • Anyone who has any serious medical conditions may require a physician's note.

  • Pregnant or nursing clients at your own discretion. I suggest discussing with your doctor first. Cosmetic tattooing is still considered a tattoo, and just like with wine or sushi consumption, it is a personal choice to do so during this period. Doctors note required.
